Its 1-1/8 to 1.5 tapered head tube creates a stiff front end to deliver crisp, accurate steering, and the forged rear dropouts with a replaceable derailleur hanger ensure a serviceable, long life. Up front, the Fox 32 Float CTD 29 suspension fork gives you 100mm of travel; plenty for blazing along cross country singletrack. The fork also features external rebound and lock out plus a 15mm thru-axle for stiffness and security under acceleration. Speaking of tried and true, the Shimano 2x10 drivetrain is the epitome of reliability, strength, and precision. Shifting is handled by a Shimano SLX Rapidfire 2x10 setup on the bars, a Shimano Deore front derailleur, plus the exemplary Shimano XT Shadow SGS rear derailleur.
